The Africa Journal of Sustainable Development (AJSD) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality interdisciplinary research that contributes to sustainable development in Africa and other developing regions. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academics, policymakers, and development practitioners to disseminate evidence that informs policy, promotes innovation, and advances sustainable development practice.

AJSD publishes original scholarly contributions that address sustainable development challenges and opportunities across Africa. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary research spanning the environmental, economic, social, institutional, and technological dimensions of sustainable development.
Submissions may include original research articles, research notes, technical reports, review articles, policy analyses, book reviews, and reports from sustainable development agencies and institutions in Africa.
Submitted manuscripts must represent original work that has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
Every manuscript submitted to AJSD undergoes an initial editorial assessment to determine its relevance to the journal's aims and scope. Manuscripts meeting the journal's standards are assigned to qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area.
Reviewers evaluate submissions based on originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and relevance to sustainable development. Authors receive constructive feedback to support revisions where appropriate.
